Antalya, which is placed on the coast Mediterranean, is a rich residential area that is circled with mountains, fertile lands and plateaus on the south of Anatolia. Antalya’s area is 20.9 thousand km2 which makes it one of the biggest provinces of Turkey. Antalya hosts 9 water reserves, 5 dams and 4 natural lakes and 65% is covered with forests. History: Antalya has been the center of countless civilizations throughout its history. First settlements in Antalya go back to stone age.   After this age Antalya has been a region on which Greek, Roman, Seljuk and Ottoman civilizations ruled for 200.000 years.
